Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This page explains, for anyone browsing pramenoux.com, how our site handles small pieces of information stored in your browser and the few external requests it makes while you look at our fleet of 34 yachts and day-boats or send us an enquiry. It is written for visitors, not for lawyers, and sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what happens to the personal data you send us directly.

Storage used on this site

Cookie notice preference (local storage)
Purpose: remembers that you closed the cookie notice. Type: local storage, set by this site. Duration: until you clear your browser storage.
Selected yacht (session storage)
Purpose: remembers which yacht you clicked on so the enquiry form can be prefilled. Type: session storage, set by this site. Duration: deleted when you close the tab or submit the form.
Visitor and session identifiers for visit measurement (local storage)
Purpose: distinguishes visits and sessions for our own first-party visit counting. Type: local storage, set by this site. Duration: 30 days after your last visit, renewable on return; can be cleared at any time in your browser.
Google Fonts request
Purpose: loads the typefaces used on the site. Type: third-party request to Google's servers, no cookie set for us. Duration: not stored; Google receives your IP address when the font files are requested.
jsDelivr CDN request (intl-tel-input library)
Purpose: powers the phone-number field in our enquiry form. Type: third-party request to the jsDelivr content delivery network, no cookie set for us. Duration: not stored; jsDelivr receives your IP address when the script is requested.

What are these small pieces of information?

A cookie is a short text file that a site can leave in your browser to be read again later. Local storage and session storage serve a similar purpose but work slightly differently: they let a page keep a small amount of information in your browser so it can be retrieved during the same visit or on a later one, without that information travelling back to a server on its own. We use the terms loosely in this page to cover all three, because the practical question for you is the same: what is kept in your browser, for how long, and why.

Does pramenoux.com set cookies?

No. pramenoux.com does not set any cookies of its own, and we have not installed any third-party analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tool. We made this choice deliberately, so that browsing our selection of superyachts, yachts, day-boats and sport-yachts does not leave you followed around the web by advertising networks. What the site does use instead is explained in the sections below.

How do we measure visits without cookies?

We count visits using our own script, served from our own domain, with no data shared with any outside analytics or advertising company. It records which pages were viewed, time spent on each page, the referring website, any campaign parameters carried in the link such as UTM tags or an ad click identifier, device type, browser, operating system, screen size, browser language, and the country derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is never stored. If you send an enquiry or tap a WhatsApp or phone link, that action is linked to the visit it came from, so we know which channel brought the booking request, charter by charter. This measurement relies on the local-storage identifiers listed in the table above, which hold random visitor and session identifiers only, expire 30 days after your last visit, and can be deleted by you at any time.

What else is kept in my browser?

Two further entries are set directly by our pages, for the sole purpose of making the site easier to use. A local-storage entry remembers that you closed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every page. A session-storage entry remembers which yacht you clicked on from our fleet listing, so that if you then open the enquiry form it can be prefilled with the right vessel, saving you from retyping it; this entry disappears as soon as you close the tab or send the form. Neither entry contains your name, contact details or any information you have not already seen displayed on the page.

What happens when a page loads fonts or form scripts?

Two requests leave your browser to reach servers outside our own. The first loads the typefaces used throughout the site from Google Fonts; Google receives your IP address when it serves these files, though no cookie is set on our behalf. The second loads a small library called intl-tel-input, used to format the phone-number field in our enquiry form, from the jsDelivr content delivery network; jsDelivr likewise receives your IP address when it serves the script, again without setting any cookie for us. These requests are limited to serving the font and script files themselves.

What about the WhatsApp buttons?

The WhatsApp buttons on our site do nothing until you click them. On a click, our own booking system records the page you were on, the referring website, your browser language and the prefilled message text, so our charter team can follow up promptly; the site itself sets no cookie or storage entry for this. Only then does your browser open WhatsApp, where the conversation continues under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, outside our control, as it is operated by Meta.

How can I control or delete this storage, and what if that changes?

Every modern browser lets you view, block or delete local storage, session storage and cookies through its settings, usually under a privacy or site-data section; clearing this storage will remove the cookie-notice preference, the selected-yacht entry and the visit-measurement identifiers described above, and you are welcome to do so at any time without affecting your ability to browse the fleet or send an enquiry. Browser extensions that block fonts or scripts from external domains such as Google Fonts or jsDelivr may slightly change how the site looks or how the phone field behaves, but will not prevent you from contacting us. If we ever decide to introduce optional cookies, for instance for a future marketing tool, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before any such cookie is set, in line with the data protection law of Monaco and the recommendations issued by the Autorité de Protection des Données Personnelles. For any question about this page, or to exercise your rights regarding the limited data described here, write to [email protected]; we reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity before giving effect to your request.
